how long after u pass someone going to die?
lets say I'm suffocating someone with a naked choke, hung back, or a triangle, how long does it take to go to someone if I am preforming art? and also, i can accidentally kill the person, if I hold too long? How long before the person dies? sorry I do jiujitsu, and I've become paranoid because ive spent like 4 people and I am very afraid that I may accidentally harm the person.
If they go to class - let Go immediately. Some second should not cause any damage. You do not have to keep it for a few minutes, not seconds to kill someone. I heard that 2 1 / 2 to 3 minutes would cause a head injury enough to kill. The only death in the U.S. I heard from a starter was a guy who attacked people in a bus. Jiu Jitsu player got him in an RNC and the guy came out. The guy who held him to JJ until the starter police came because he was afraid the guy wakes up and attack people again. Supposedly it was more than 10 minutes, but I can not find section. I'll post a link later if I find it. Play it safe - just let go of the choke or strangulation if you are not sure if the person is conscious. It seems that people are not typing fast enough in your classes. You may want to talk to your instructor - cause injuries ego. A person who has no brain to operate at the beginning is dangerous. One last note - if you are dealing with people over 40 be very cautious. At this age, there is a possibility more than a "blood choke" / strangulation can cause damage. What happens is that when the blood is cut and then releases, the dramatic increase in blood flow can cause plaque buildup in the veins to be removed. Under the right circumstances this can lead to stroke. I do not mean this to make you paranoid, just to increase your knowledge. Be safe.
