How Good Is Dura Lube?
I would be adding it to a well-maintained Mercedes engine with 120,000 miles. I am already using a full-synthetic, high-quality engine oil (Mobil 1, Valvoline, or Quaker State Maximum Horsepower, depending in pricing). Will I get any positive results from Dura Lube?
no. if you were using a regular oil, it might help, but with a full synthetic, you won't find it to be a help. actually, it, and slick 50, are lower quality than the synthetic you are already using.
as an aside, you may want to check mileage with your oils. i find that my cars respond differently to different synthetics. there are a couple that last better and get significantly better gas mileage than others, but i find it vary's from car to car which is best.
