How to paint my bedroom?
In my room i have that horrible bumpy wallpaper (see pic) and I want to strip it off and paint my room, would I need to plaster it or can I use something over the wallpaper like smoothover to create a flat painted surface (as this is a old house it doesnt have even walls. two options:
1. get a steamer and steam the wall paper to remove it making sure you get all glue off the wall.
2. You can get joint compound and spread that over the entire wall, but this will also require sanding which creates a lot of dust. Very time consuming and at a lot of work as well.
Neither option is fun. You could try just painting over it and be left with a bumpy wall.
